We would also like to apologise if your idea appears in any of our issues, as we often receive similar submission/pitches and it is the discretion of the editorial team to decide who's proposals are successful.
FJORDE is a bi-monthly urban culture magazine that endeavours to promote the wealth of Independent Melbourne Fashion and culture by supporting and mentoring young independent journalists, artists, photographers, designers and musicians to expand their creative abilities and reach a greater audience.
Our readers expect to be taken beneath the surface of everyday culture and exposed to the rich tapestry of creative diversity that exists outside of daily life.
We encourage the individual styles of all contributes but we do ask you to look through our previous issues and get a feel for FJORDE as a whole. NOTE: We work two to three months in advance of issue release date.
For all contributors please be aware that FJORDE accepts both finished work and pitches – submissions must be UNPUBLISHED. Pitches should be submitted with samples of previous work/portfolio.
